The primary purpose of Trinity Lutheran’s musical ensembles is to glorify God and build His Church through the presentation of skillfully and artistically excellent music.

We also nurture the spiritual development of its participants through the act of serving in worship and through the exploration of faith in the pieces we learn and their relation to the sermon texts for each Sunday of service.

As those goals are met, we achieve subsequent goals. These include nurturing a spirit of fellowship within each ensemble while connecting to the larger congregation and then serving as ambassadors of Christ within the larger arts community of Bloomington-Normal.

CONTEMPORARY WORSHIP TEAM

The primary purpose of Trinity Lutheran’s contemporary worship team is to glorify God and build His Church through artistically and skillfully supporting the congregation's song through our musical leadership in worship.

We also nurture the spiritual development of team members through the act of serving in worship and through the exploration of faith in the pieces we learn and their function within the worship context.

The Contemporary Worship Team rehearsals are held on Wednesday evenings in the sanctuary.

  • 8:00PM - Contemporary Worship Team

Please contact our Worship Arts Director, Angela Wirsing at angelawirsing@trinluth.org, for more information about any of these ensembles.
