In order to prepare our hearts for the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, our Family Life Ministry is hosting an ADVENT EVENT on Sunday, December 3rd from 2:00-3PM at church. You will create your own Jesse Tree Christmas centerpiece. The Jesse tree represents Jesus' family tree. The name is taken from Isaiah 11:1, in which Jesus is referred to as a “shoot coming up from the stump of Jesse,” the father of David, a great-grandfather of Jesus.

We will sing carols, hear God’s Word, and enjoy some cookies and hot chocolate.

• Each family, together, will make one Jesse tree centerpiece and will receive the accompanying 25 day Advent devotion guide - a journey through the lineage of the ONE whose birth we celebrate. This guide includes references from both the Old and New Testaments that share the stories of Jesus’ ancestors; reminding us of fulfilled prophecies pointing to His life, death, and resurrection.
