WILL THE REAL JESUS PLEASE STAND UP?
A new Wednesday evening Bible study entitled “Will the Real Jesus Please Stand Up?” will begin November 4 at 6PM and continue on the Wednesdays listed below through February 17 (early ending date). The link to this Bible Study will be available in the Cross Currents or you may call the church office for ZOOM instructions.
Description:
“Who do people say I am?’ This was a question Jesus asked His disciples. The people were not sure. Then Jesus asked His disciples, “What about you? Who do you say I am?” We might know in our minds and in our hearts who Jesus is as Lord and Savior but it may also be difficult to give a response to others who may have a different view of who Jesus is. Their view may still see Jesus as Lord and Savior but their view may also want to bring additional thoughts and feelings into who they see Jesus to be- or maybe better, who they want Jesus to be. Our world today has so many ideas of who Jesus is and who we think He should be based on our own personal experiences or how we see what is happening in our world today. Join us as we read, discuss, and discover who Jesus is and who He was not meant to be.
