ADVENT & CHRISTMAS WORSHIP

BLUE CHRISTMAS
MONDAY, December 9, 6:00PM

During this Christmas season we would Iike to extend love and support to those who have experienced loss, death, or spiritual brokenness. As part of our annual Blue Christmas service, we will offer prayers, scripture, and music acknowledging that God's presence is for those who mourn, those who struggle, and those who are just feeling "blue". Please note that the Blue Christmas service, usually on a Wednesday, will be on Monday, December 9, 6:00PM. Lesson reflections will be given by Trinity's Senior Pastor David McBurney, Assistant Pastor Chuck Bahn, Pastor Emeritus Tom Wirsing, and Our Redeemer's Pastor Andrew Smith.

THE SILENCE AND THE SOUND (Christmas Cantata)SUNDAY, December 15, 8:15AM and 10:30AM

Our musical ensembles lead us in both services, exploring both the mystery and majesty of Christ’s birth. Alleluia Ringers handbell choir will play a meditative prelude on the traditional hymn, “Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence.” Then Trinity Choir and the Trinity Children’s Choir will lead us in our worship patterns through narration, Scripture, and song. Pastor David will share a message for our reflection. The service will end with a festive postlude played by Alleluia Ringers to send us into the season with renewed joy!

There will be familiar Christmas hymns led by organ, a choral offering by Trinity Choir, a children’s message, a take-home object, a live nativity led by our youth, and a powerful candlelight service to send us reflecting on the birth of Jesus.
